Ingredients:

  • Strawberries (8)

  • Red Apple (2)

 

Special Tools:

  • Knife

  • Mandoline Slicer

 

Instructions:

  1. Slice an apple in half and use a mandoline slicer to create paper-thin apple slices.

  2. Slice a strawberry in half and do the same thing to create thin strawberry slices.

  3. Lay the apple slices on a large baking tray.

 

Instructions:

  1. Place the sliced strawberries on top of the apple slices in a decorative pattern.

  2. Place another baking tray directly on top of the baking tray with the apple slices to apply pressure lightly.

  3. Preheat oven to 200˚F (93°C) and put the baking tray (with the other tray still covering the top of it) into the oven for 25 minutes.

  4. Remove the top baking tray and cook in the oven for two hours at 175˚F (79°C).

  5. Take the tray out when the apple slices are completely dry to the touch.

Ready to be served – you can store extra chips in an air-tight container for 6 months since they are dehydrated!
